Andie’s work sits at the intersection of movement, neuroscience, and community care. She founded KUUMA Yoga to be more than just a place to sweat - it’s a space for coming home to yourself. Whether she’s guiding a class, mentoring new teachers, or holding space one-on-one, her focus is always the same: to help people reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and feel deeply human again.

Andie is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500®), a trauma-informed educator, Neurosculpting® Facilitator and Pranassage® Practitioner. Everything she does is filtered through a nervous system-aware lens. That means she leads with consent, respecting your boundaries, and honouring your lived experience - whether you’re moving through grief, burnout, or just trying to make it through your week.

A lot of this comes from her own path. When she was 20, she lost her dad to intravenous drug addiction. That kind of loss changes you - and for her, it lit a fire to understand the brain, the body, and the ways we hold pain in both. KUUMA is part of that healing for her. It’s her offering back to the world: a space where you don’t have to fix yourself, just feel what’s real.

When she’s not in the studio, you’ll probably find her dancing Brazilian Zouk in Colorado, exploring remote California desert-land, hanging out with her dog Ivy, or creating something weird and wonderful. Her life is full of rituals, playlists, solo dance breaks, and deep belly laughs. And always - always - movement.
