My work is all about bringing movement, neuroscience, and community together in ways that feel supportive, empowering, and deeply human. With a decade of experience, I focus on creating spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and just feel like themselves again. I’m an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) and almost finished my Neurosculpting® certification, which adds a trauma-informed lens to everything I do – from yoga and somatic healing to education.
A lot of what drives me comes from personal experience. My dad passed away from an overdose when I was 20, and working through the trauma of that loss has shaped so much of who I am and what I’ve built. It’s why I believe so deeply in the power of movement, neuroscience, and community to help us heal and transform.
Whether I’m helping yoga teachers level up their skills or guiding clients one-on-one in somatic sessions, my goal is always the same: to help people feel more grounded, present, and at home in their bodies. At KUUMA Yoga, we’ve created a space where autonomy, real connection, and a little playfulness come first.
When I’m not at KUUMA, I’m probably hiding out under a Joshua Tree in the California desert, soaking up some solo time. I love connecting with my chosen family, hanging out at home, taking long baths, dancing Zouk (or just dancing for myself), and creating – whether it’s AI art, creating new products and services or something else entirely. Life’s about the journey, and for me, it’s always been about finding and fostering connection.
