200hr Yoga Teacher Training

Two women practicing yoga in a studio with brick walls, one supporting the other in a stretch pose, with yoga mats, blankets, and water bottles nearby, and others seated on the floor.

This is where ancient practice meets modern neuroscience. We don’t just train yoga teachers - we teach humans how to regulate, lead, and live with depth. Whether you join us in person in Moncton or online from anywhere in the world, you’ll learn to speak the language of the nervous system, guide from safety, and embody yoga in real time.
This is more than a certification.
It’s a full-body re-education in presence, ethics, and emotional intelligence.

We blend modern neuroscience with the timeless wisdom of yoga to create teachers who understand both the body and the human experience. More than posture mechanics, it’s a deep exploration of how movement, breath, and awareness shape the nervous system and our ability to hold space for others.

You’ll study functional anatomy, trauma-informed sequencing, consent-based assisting, and somatic teaching techniques that foster safety and connection. A Yoga Alliance–approved certification, KOULU 200HR prepares you to teach with clarity, integrity, and confidence - both in person and online - while embodying the language of the body and the nervous system.

This is not your average yoga teacher training. At KUUMA Yoga, we’re redefining what it means to teach - and to lead - through the lens of nervous system science, therapeutic touch, and real human connection.

Our program blends hot yoga with neuro-psychology, consent-driven touch, and a full-spectrum sensory experience designed to support not just bodies, but hearts and minds. You’ll leave with the skills to guide others safely, confidently, and with the kind of presence that can’t be faked.

This training is for those who aren’t just here to teach yoga - but to shift culture, hold space, and lead with integrity.
